to play, simply unzip the downloaded file and execute the harmed.exe.
THE GAME
The plot, such as it is: Disturbed by the arrival of a mysterious letter that informs her the Charmed Ones have been 'cancelled', Piper decides to make sure that no matter what happens, she has one perfect family photo to remember everyone by. The problem is, to get this she's going to have to get the co-operation of Paige and Phoebe, keep Wyatt and Chris in the same room without any magical sibling rivalry hijinks, make sure that Billie's maggot neck isn't in the picture (after recovering the Book of Shadows from her), rescue Leo from wherever the hell he's been frozen, and last but by no means least, have a smile on her face. All of that can be done in five minutes. If you know exactly what you're doing. But if you did, it wouldn't be much of an adventure, would it?
ENTERING COMMANDS
The parser is a bit smarter than the old 'verb/noun' system of old text adventures, but it's still pretty dumb. About Paige's level. Things need to be phrased in a fairly specific way. Hey, what am I, a professor of linguistics and artificial intelligence?
To move around, you can either type the direction (eg, NORTH) or abbreviate it just to N. (In fact, only the first four letters of any word are needed, so NORT would work as well. This applies to every command in the game - EXAMINE PHOEBE can be entered as EXAM PHOE.)
To pick something up, just type TAKE [object] - eg, TAKE WYATT. To put it down again, DROP [object].
Once you have control of all three sisters (you start as Piper, and have to find certain items that the other two want/need and give them to them before they become playable), you can switch between them just by typing their name. Like this. PHOEBE. Now you're Phoebe. Shivering yet?
The sisters have powers. Piper can FREEZE and BLOW UP (or BLAST) things, while Paige can ORB. Phoebe? Is negligible. But you can still try out her powers for nutss and giggles.
Paige's orbing power is actually very powerful. She can ORB TO [name of place] - eg, ORB TO CELLAR. (Or just ORB CELL.) Any location in the game can be reached by orbing... almost. In fact, some locations can *only* be reached that way. The name of each location is listed in the box next to the picture of the current character at the top of the screen, along with the exits - but remember to make a map for the characters who have to travel around on foot!
Paige can also orb people and objects around the place. For example, ORB PHOEBE TO PIPER'S BEDROOM (or ORB PHOE PIPE) or ORB BOOK OF SHADOWS TO ATTIC (ORB BOOK ATTI). There are some objects that can't be orbed, though, either because they're too big, or it would be silly to do so.
If you're stuck, typing HINT might give you an extra clue. EXAMINE objects to find other clues as well. HELP will display a command list.
If you've had enough, type QUIT to end the game and return to the Desktop

Happy birthday, Teshik!! Thank you so much for coming up with this fantastic game along with Paydnz! It is absolutely my favorite thing of all things that have to do with Charmed!
